Deicing Systems and Solutions becomes a division of Liquid Automation Systems, LLC (LAS-USA), March 1, 2008

LAS-USA completed the purchase of all Deicing Systems and Solutions’ assets.  DSS will continue operations as a division of LAS-USA.  Mr. Rex Courtney will continue as the Sales and Business Development Manager for the DSS division.

 

DSS has developed unique and innovative systems to enable clients to significantly improve their deicing capabilities and performance while at the same time reducing purchasing, shipping, storage, usage, and environmental costs associated with ADFs.  LAS-USA believes demand for these products will continue to grow with the increase in commercial aviation’s need to find more cost effective solutions for operations and with the increased concern of ADF’s environmental impact.  LAS-USA will provide the engineering, project management, field service, and financial support that DSS needs to meet this growth.

 

In addition to innovative methods of handling ADF’s to improve performance, the efficient and accurate management of those fluids is also critical.  LAS-USA supplies automated inventory and POS systems for the management of aviation fuels and provides automated real time complete fuel accountability at all fluid movement and storage points. The merger of these two capabilities enables DSS/LAS-USA the ability to a complete ADF management system.

 

LAS-USA sees DSS as a natural extension of their fuel management business and is very excited to be the premier supplier of integrated solutions and comprehensive services for managing Aviation’s mission critical fluids.
