DSS is the only manufacturer that allows for re-blending of pre-mixed fluid without waste.

At the end of a deicing event, trucks are often left with substantial volumes of fluid that may not appropriate for use during the next de-icing event because of glycol concentration that may be too high or too low. Historically, this material has been fed back into the water tank and used at the start of the next de-icing operation. Given that older systems measure volumes pumped, this material is counted as water. The result is that significant amounts of expensive de-icing fluid are used needlessly as water.

DSS’s system overcomes this issue by allowing ALL fluid to be reblended on site. Thanks to our highly accurate refractometers, trucks can offload directly into fluid tanks for later use.
