DSS’s “Final Blend Technology” in a simplified flow diagram:

"Final Blend Technology” means that the glycol concentration is measured at the point of blending. This results in extremely accurate readings of the end product, creating efficient glycol blends based on temperature and weather conditions. Should conditions change, blended fluid in a holding tank or in a deicing truck can be fed back into the system for highly accurate re-use as part of our reblending technology.

DSS uses high quality dual inline refractometers to allow operators an accurate range. In conjunction with modulating ball valves on the fluid inlets, these refractometers allow an operator to dial in a temperature to get a specific glycol-water blend.
